The palette

Dark, damp and old: mangrove and dark oak for the hut, mud and moss at the water's edge, and cold soul lanterns for the light. Every wood is a different brown, so the hut looks patched together over the years. The only warm colours are the toadstool and the pumpkin, small enough to catch the eye.
