Privacy policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026

What happens to your personal data when you visit our websites or play our Minecraft content. The short version: if you create an account we keep your e-mail address, your membership and what you choose to keep or share (your builds, your creator name, your likes); our websites count their visits anonymously, and this website shows ads from Google, which can use cookies.

1Who we are

Olivares Studios is an independent studio that makes add-ons and worlds for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. For any question about this policy, write to olivares.studios@protonmail.com.

This policy covers this website and the wikis of our projects, together called "our websites", the Minecraft content we make, and the tool we use to publish on social networks.

2Our websites

Our websites are pages that you read. They have:

  • no comment section and no newsletter; an account is optional and only exists on this website (see below);
  • fonts, scripts and pictures served by the website itself, except the visit counter and the ads described below.

Your browser keeps, in its local storage, your choice between the dark and the light theme and, if you sign in, your sign-in. They never leave your device except to sign you in, and clearing the site data in your browser deletes them.

OliMatica, our tool to build in Minecraft with a hologram, works in your browser: the pack you are making, the structure files you add (.mcstructure, .litematic, .schem, .nbt, .schematic) and the packs you made are kept in your browser (local storage and IndexedDB) and are not sent to us, unless you choose to share a structure with the community (see Your account). Clearing the site data in your browser deletes them.

The Studio, where you look at a build in 3D, check it, reskin it and make pictures and videos of it, also works in your browser: a structure you open there, and the pictures and videos you make, stay on your device unless you keep the structure in your space or share it (see Your account).

3Visit statistics

Our Zomblocks wiki counts its visits with GoatCounter, a statistics service made to respect privacy, without cookies. For each page viewed it records the page, the website you came from, your browser, your system, your screen size and your country, worked out from your IP address. It does not keep your IP address and cannot tell who you are. We only use these numbers to see which pages are read. GoatCounter explains what it collects in its privacy policy.

When you are not signed in, we also count the pages you see ourselves, to know which pages and builds are read and which links bring visitors: for each page, the page, the time, your country (worked out from your connection or the time zone of your browser), whether you use a phone and its system (iOS, Android, Windows...: worked out from what your browser says about itself, which is not kept), and for the first page of a visit the website you came from. Your browser draws a random number for the tab you have open (kept in its session storage, deleted when you close the tab) so that the pages of one visit go together; we cannot recognise you from one visit to the next. No cookie and no IP address are kept. These numbers are stored with our account service (Supabase, in the European Union) and deleted after 13 months.

Signed in or not, we also measure how long each page stays in view while someone is using it (time with no click, key or scroll for 2 minutes is not counted), and count a few things done on the website: a build turned in 3D on its page, a file downloaded (and its format), an OliMatica pack made (and which of our builds are in it), the format of a structure opened in the Studio, the words of a search in Explore that found no build, and the website installed as an app on your phone, or opened from it (and the phone’s system). These are kept against the random number of your tab only, never against your account, your e-mail address or your IP address, with the same account service, and deleted after 13 months.

When you use the website, your browser also keeps copies of the pages, pictures and builds you have seen (a "service worker" and its cache, in your browser only, never sent to us) so they open faster and still open without a network. Clearing your browser’s data for this website deletes them.

4Advertising

This website (olivaresstudios.eu) shows ads served by Google AdSense; the wikis of our projects do not. Google and its partners can use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, measure them and, if you agree, personalise them based on your visits to this and other websites. We do not receive this data.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a message asks for your consent before any cookie is used for ads, and you can change your choice at any time. Elsewhere you can turn off personalised ads in Google ad settings. Google explains how it uses data on the websites of its partners on this page.

5Your account

You can use this website without an account. An account is needed to use OliMatica, to open our builds in the Studio and use its tools, to keep builds in your space and to share them in Explore. It is made with your e-mail address alone: we send you a sign-in link, there is no password. You can also sign in with your Google or your Discord account: it then gives us your e-mail address, your name there and your profile picture; we only use the e-mail address, the rest is kept by our account service as it is sent. We keep:

  • your e-mail address, to sign you in and to write to you about your account;
  • your membership: whether you are a member and until when;
  • if you use OliMatica, the date of each pack you make and how many builds it holds, to apply the limits of a Free account, and your bonus packs (deleted with your account);
  • if you choose a creator name: the name, shown with the builds you share and on your creator page, together with whether you are a member, the date your account was created and how many likes your builds have;
  • if you keep builds in your space (in the Studio): their file, a picture of each, their name and the blocks you swapped in them. Only you can see them, and our admins when they need to (to help you or to check a report); you can delete them at any time;
  • if you share a build in Explore (from the Studio or OliMatica): its file, a picture of it, its title, its description and your creator name. An admin looks at it first; once approved, everybody can see it, download it and use it in OliMatica, and members can remix it: a copy goes into their space and, if they share their version, it shows the build it comes from while yours is in Explore. You can delete yours at any time from the Studio or the OliMatica page;
  • the builds you like: everybody sees how many likes a build has, only you see which builds you like;
  • the days you use a feature that Free accounts may only try (the reskin) and how many times, to apply that limit;
  • where your account comes from, to know which of our posts and pages bring people to the website: your country (worked out from your connection when you first sign in; your IP address itself is not kept), the website that sent you to us and the tags of the link if it had some (utm_...), the first page of ours you saw, the last 20 pages you saw before creating your account, the language and time zone of your browser, and the system of your device (iOS, Android, Windows...). Your browser keeps the first visit and those pages in its local storage until you sign in;
  • the pages of the website you see while signed in: the last 50, each kept 30 days at most.

We do not sell or share this data, and we do not use it for advertising. Accounts are run by Supabase, with the data stored in the European Union (Ireland). You can delete your account at any time from My account: your e-mail address, your membership, your space, your shared builds, your likes and where your account comes from are deleted at once. A copy that a member made of one of your builds before (a remix) stays in their space. An account left unused is kept until you delete it or ask us to.

If you are under 15, ask a parent before creating an account.

6Hosting

Our websites are hosted by GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc. (United States). Like any web host, GitHub receives the technical data needed to deliver a page, such as your IP address, and may keep it in its logs for security purposes. We have no access to these logs. GitHub explains how it handles this data in its privacy statement.

7Our Minecraft content

Our add-ons and worlds are made for the Minecraft Marketplace, which is run by Microsoft and Mojang Studios. Your Microsoft account, your purchases and your game data are handled by Microsoft under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. We do not receive your account details or your payment information.

Our content itself does not collect personal data and does not send anything anywhere. It only saves your progress inside your own world.

8Our publishing tool

We use an internal tool, registered with TikTok and Meta (Instagram, Facebook), to publish our own videos on our own accounts. Only the studio uses it: nobody else can connect an account to it, and it holds no data about anyone. There is therefore nothing of yours to delete; if you have a question about it, write to olivares.studios@protonmail.com.

9Reports

When you send a report with the Report an issue form, we keep what you write (what it is about, its title and description), the page it was sent from, the name of your browser and, if you give it or are signed in, your e-mail address. We use them only to look into the problem and to answer you, and delete a report once it is dealt with and no longer needed.

To stop spam, the form keeps a one-way fingerprint of your connection for 7 days, never your IP address itself, only to count the reports sent from it.

Signed in, you see your reports and our answers on the report page. You can ask us to delete a report at any time: write to olivares.studios@protonmail.com.

10When you write to us

If you send us an e-mail, we use your address and your message only to answer you. We do not share them, and we delete the conversation once it is no longer needed. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

11Children

Our websites are suitable for all ages. Apart from the e-mail address of an account, they do not ask for personal data. In France, children under 15 need the agreement of a parent to create an account; a parent who wants the account of their child deleted can write to olivares.studios@protonmail.com.

12Your rights

Depending on where you live, for example under the GDPR in the European Union, you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data held about you, object to its use, and complain to your data protection authority. If you have an account, we hold your e-mail address, your membership, the dates of your OliMatica packs, your creator name, the builds you keep and share, your likes and your uses of the features you may try: you can see them and delete them all on My account, or write to olivares.studios@protonmail.com. Our statistics are anonymous and we hold nothing about visitors without an account. For the data used for ads, Google is the one to ask.

13Other websites

Our pages link to other websites, such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Discord, GitHub or the Minecraft Marketplace. Their own privacy policies apply as soon as you leave ours.

14Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date.
