The palette

Oak and cobblestone, the blocks of a first day. Oak planks fill the walls, oak logs stand at the corners and stripped oak runs round the top as a beam; cobblestone, a little mossy, makes the footing and the chimney. Spruce, darker, is kept for the roof and the shutters so the top of the house reads apart from its walls.
