The palette

Red sandstone in three finishes: the rough red sandstone for the walls, smooth red sandstone for the ledges and string courses, cut and chiseled red sandstone for the carved frieze. Cream smooth sandstone frames the gate and tips the corner pinnacles; dark oak for the gate, the grilles and the stakes.
