The palette

White walls on grey rock: calcite for every wall, red terracotta for the band of the towers, gold blocks for its disks and the finials. Spruce and dark oak for the timber (bay windows, eaves, posts) and the dark roofs; stone, andesite, tuff and cobblestone for the crag.
