Tuff bricks and polished tuff for the green stone of the podium and the cella; polished diorite for its pilasters, plinths and the alternate steps of the pyramid; polished andesite for the base course; smooth quartz, smooth quartz stairs and slabs for the steps, cornices, pyramid, quadriga, lions and statues, quartz pillars for the column shafts, chiseled quartz for the volutes and the wheels' hubs, calcite for the figures and the manes; lapis for the blue grounds of the friezes; copper doors and copper grates for the bronze doors; gold for the capitals' necks, the chariot and the wheels; lightning rods for the spear and the chariot pole.
