The palette

White concrete for the volumes, light grey concrete for the roof slabs edged with smooth quartz, light blue glass lined with grey concrete behind, stripped dark oak for the fins and the pavilion, smooth stone for the decks. White, glass and one dark wood: modern houses use few materials.
